This blackout blind can be installed both inside or outside a window or door frame. For inside mounting, the selected blind width should be the window width minus 0.5 to 1 inch. For outside mounting, the width should be the window width plus 4 inches. The blind height should be equal to or greater than the actual height of the window or door. Please note that the fabric width will be approximately 0.25 inches shorter than the top rail.
